St. Stephen's Day

St Stephen's day is a national holiday in Germany, so it was another quiet day for the family. We had a nice post-Christmas lunch at local hotel then spent the latter portion of the day exploring hiking trails in the area.

Christmas Eve

What a quiet day. The morning was spent running errands in Ansbach (we stopped for a couple of much needed coffee breaks) then cooking for tomorrow's feast in the afternoon. I'm feelings bit under the weather so after shooting a few photos I went home to veg out on the couch and watch Christmas movies.

Buddha says "namaste"

The family is now all here, including my little 1 and a half year old niece, Isla, who is the center of everyone's attention. She likes to inform all of us about different animal sounds..... Like, cows say "moo" or roosters say "cock a doodle". And if you ask what a Buddha says she will tell you, "Buddhas say , 'namaste'". Another trip to Nuremberg for more Christmas markets, this time we visited the gluten free gingerbread man and a delightful German restaurant.
